Mrs. Christine Greene Doggett, 76, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 9, 2017, after a brief illness. Christine was born on May 12, 1940, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, to the late Raymond Greene, Sr., and Bueleaner Alexander Greene.

Left to cherish many fond memories are her sons, Eric Curtis (Dolly Ann) Doggett and Errol Scott (Cynthia) Doggett, both of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Johnny Lee Greene and Raymond (Joyce) Greene, Jr., both of Forest City, NC; four grandchildren, Eric Fair of Charlotte, NC, Latasha (Eric) McElrath, Shenita (Fred) Rogers and Curtis James Doggett, all of Spartanburg, SC; thirteen great-grand children; two sisters-in-law, Birdell Freeman of Chesnee, SC and Catherine (Howard) Durrah of Inman, SC; four brothers-in-law, Raymond (Mamie) Doggett of Brooklyn, NY, Larry Doggett of Chesnee, SC, Ben (Catherine) Moore and Reginald (Vernelle) Doggett, both of Spartanburg, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends and a very special friend for over 40 years, Catherine Hughes.
