The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Harper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Martin J Riley
Condolence: I first met Miss Dot in 1993. She was working at a Dry Cleaners on East Faris Rd. I was actually her boss, or so I thought. She quickly let me know who was running the show. Over the years, I left that company but stayed in touch with her. When Cole Young and I first started our current company, I went right to Dot and asked her to come work with me. She did, and it turned out to be a great friendship that has survived the years. I will truly miss her and I don't mind telling people that I loved having her as my friend. Miss Dot, please, please put in a good word for me, with you know who. I know you'll wind up with him. God Bless you and I'll pray for your immortal soul. See you someday!

Condolence From: R. Sweatman
Condolence: My deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved family member. Death of a loved one is very difficult. The deep emotional pain hurts so much. Our loving heavenly father feels the pain as well. In his word the Bible, there are beautiful scriptures of comfort. Psalm 34:18 is one that has comforted me. It says: Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Also Isaiah 25:8 has this promise from God for the future; He (God) will swallow up death forever. And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces. For more comfort, please visit our website: jw.org and view the comforting video; Is There Hope for the Dead?
