My condolences go out to the young family. I grew up with boo in Westview and Sterling area as well as attended Greenville High together. Our prep rally was packed because of boo. It is hard to grasp losing another friend as him but I don't question God and the unknown works in him. I can smile and say boo is with God and in spirit with all the family and friends who knew him. May the Young family find peace and comfort in the Lord as we shall all be together again. Blessings, J. LaKendall Brown

Sometimes the pain of separation from those we care about can be difficult. I'm reminded of the words written in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NIV 13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. David (Boo) will be missed greatly, but just remember At death, God's people don't say "goodbye," but "we'll see you later." Furman S. Jackson

“Boo Young” was the gold standard for basketball players in the Peach Blossom. He was by far the best of that time. Thank you Boo for speaking up for me when we went to Clemson. You never forgot where you came from. You helped others believe we could make it to the next level, also. You have and will always be a part of my testimony. My prayers fir the Young family. We share this burden with you. Go Tigers!
