Mr. Willie was truly one of the kindest people I’ve known. I really enjoyed our little chats when he would come with Mrs. Ida to get his hair cut. I’m really going to miss him. I offer my deepest sympathy to the family and will continue to pray for you all. Keep in mind Rev. 21: 3,4 when death will be a thing of the past. No more pain or sorrow. Onlooking forward to what the Bible promises us, life in paradise on earth and death, our enemy will be done away with.

Family and friends you have my deepest sympathy. This is a difficult time for most. There are basic things that can help anyone get through the pain no matter what age, gender or religious beliefs. Many have been helped with the twelve basics or just a few. You can go to jw.org and get the basics with no cost ever. See the article “Help for those who grieve “ in the magazine section. Anyone can get help and comfort.

My condolences to the Valentine family. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up ". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
