Mr. Adger Stephen “Steve” Dawkins, 64, of 12 Jones Ave, Taylors, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Greenville Health System. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Deacon James R. Dawkins and Deaconess Gaynell E. Ferguson Dawkins.
Surviving: wife, Ruth Ann Irby Dawkins; son, Adger Stephen Dawkins, Jr; daughter, Cordelia Dawkins; stepdaughter, Jermittia Irby; stepson, Anthony Anderson; eight grandchildren, Briyana Dawkins, Jeremiah Dawkins, Cameron Ponder, A. J. Anderson, Antravia Anderson, Shania Anderson, Makireya Anderson, D’asia Wideman; sisters, Rev. Dr. E. Mary (William) Robinson and Shirlene (Wallace) Cruell; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
