Mr. Albert Dean “Papa’ Hopper, 70, of Greenville, passed on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his residence. Born in Blacksburg, he was the son of the late Mac Hopper and Annie Sue Anderson Hopper.
Surviving: his wife of fifty-three years, Alvina Adams Hoppers; two daughters, Jacklyn Hopper of Simpsonville, SC, and Latasha (Thomas) Dixon; one son, Octavious (Rhonda) Demory of Simpsonville, SC; three sisters, Montrose Lilly of Albemarle, NC, Agnes Hopper of New Jersey, and Louise (Eugene) Lockhart of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Ray (Minnie) Hopper of Kannapolis, NC; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, December 11, 2021, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
