Alice Croft

Ms. Alice Lucille “Cille” Croft, 94, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Simpsonville Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Willie Mae Clinkscale Allen Durant.

She was a retiree of Rental Uniform Company in Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Croft Sr.; two sons, Alvin Croft, Jr., and Alan K. Croft; two daughters, Ophelia Hewins and Barbara Ann Gordon; and a great-grandson, Kamden D. Snipe.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are five daughters, Sandra (Johnnie) Rutherford of the home, Prentiss Croft of Piedmont and Traci Croft, Arnita Croft, both of Greenville and Hazel Croft of Florida; four sons, Clifton (Eloise) Ruth of Piedmont, Donald Durant of Greenville, Percy Croft of Piedmont and Maurice Croft of Greenville; one brother, Calvin Durant of Greenville; two sisters-in-law, Mattie Allen of Greenville and Shirley Croft of Piedmont; thirty-five grand-children; fifty-eight great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends
