Alice Robinson

Ms. Alice E. Robinson, 92, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, October 18, 2019, at McCall Hospice House.

She attended Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church and Mountain View Baptist Church, where she participated in the Gospel and Mass Choirs, Youth Sponsor, President of the Floral Club, Willing Workers Club, Trustee Aids, Overseer of the Nursery, Welcome Committee and President Council.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robin Robinson; a son, Franklin Moates; a brother, Bill Clardy; a sister, Rosa Lee Posley; two grandsons, Jeffrey Jackson and Kobe Moates; two great-great-granddaughters, Jessica Moates and Keisha Moates; and two great-great-grandsons, Cameron Moates and Gregory Calhoun.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are one sister, Carolyn Sanders of Ware Shoals, SC; one brother, Newell Clardy of Abbeville, SC; a daughter-in-law, Jessie Moates of Greenwood, SC; a stepdaughter, Annie Robinson of Virginia; a goddaughter, Naomi (Wilbert) Smalls of Turnersville, NJ; a godson, Aaron (Menuhah) Keel of Philadelphia, PA; her caregiver, Mary Deal of Greenville, SC; eleven grandchildren, Franklin Moates, Michael Moates, Nira Moates, Vicky Robinson, Delois Williams, Marion Moates, Corey Moates, Robert Moates, Cassandra Jackson, May Frances Holmes and Brenda Jackson; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; thirty great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
