Mr. Allen Demorris “Dee Doc” Dotson, Sr. 51, of Greenville, passed on Monday, May 24, 2021. He was a son of Willie Thurmond and the late Linda Faye Dotson.
Surviving: in addition to his father, his stepfather, Samuel (Angela) Griffin of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Allenia Gaines of Piedmont, SC and Melanie Dotson-Sherred of Greenville, SC; three sons, Allen Dotson, Jr., Desmond Sherred and Demaurie Sherred, all of Greenville, SC; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Dillard of Georgia; paternal grandmother, Ada Lee Thurmond of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Verna Dotson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Chris Dotson of Greenville, SC, Leslie Dotson of Georgia and Denise Burdine of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Sammy Dotson and Tito Knox, both of Greenville, SC; one grandson, Cayden Arnold; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
