Mrs. Almeta Robinson Kennedy, 98, of Mauldin, South Carolina, passed on Friday, December 16, 2022. She was born in Greenville County, South Carolina, the last surviving member of her siblings.
Mrs. Kennedy was married to the late Evangelist James W. Kennedy, a minister of I-85 Church of Christ.
Surviving: two daughters, Frankie Kennedy of Mauldin, SC; Deborah Kennedy Kennard (Ambassador Williams E. Kennard) of Washington, DC and Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Ameka J. Burton, and Robert James Kennedy Kennard; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing: Saturday afternoon, December 24, 2022, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary and on Monday, December 26, 2022, 12noon – 1:00pm at I-85 Church of Christ.
Funeral Services: Monday, December 26, 2022, 1:00pm, at I-85 Church of Christ with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
