Annie Evans

Mrs. Annie Evans, 89, of 107 Basswood Drive, Mauldin, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at her home. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Lydia Watley Mayes. She was preceded in death by husband, Datcher Lee Evans and daughter, Vivian Dale Moss. She was a devoted member of Rock Hill #1, where she served on the Usher Board. She was also past president of the Deaconess and Missionary Boards and sang with the Senior Choir.

Surviving: daughter, Vicky (Bruce) Stenhouse of the home; sons, Jimmy (Linda) Evans of Bowie, MD and Charles (Vickie) Evans of Fort Washington, MD; sisters, Juanita Garrison of Baltimore, MD, Bessie Caldwell, and Hazel Todd, both of Greenville; brothers, Melvin (Shirley) Mayes of Greenville and Calvin Mayes of Laurens; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Saturday, April 11, 2015, 2:00 PM at Rock Hill Baptist Church #1, 500 Dublin Road, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
