Mrs. Annie J. Blandin Miles, 100, of Greenville, South Carolina departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2020. She was born in Pickens, South Carolina, and was a daughter of the late James Kayron and Eula Hill Blandin.
Annie was a retiree of Hope Reed and Ruth’s Fashions Manufacturing Companies. She was a faithful volunteer at Sterling Community Center, where she received numerous awards.
She was a loyal member of Mt. Olive CME Church, where she served on the Missionary Board, Senior Choir and President of the Usher Board. Annie also received the Women of the Year award from the Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woffard Miles; her parents, James Kayron and Eula Hill Blandin; siblings, Angie M. Ware, James Leroy Blandin, Mattie B. Blandin, Lucile Baker, Gracie Henderson, Rozell Wofford and Sarah Kennedy..
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are two sons, William Thomas (Dorothy) Miles of Greenville, SC, and Broadus (Carolyn) Miles of Easley, SC; three daughters, Mildred M. Prease, Margaret M. Harrison both of Greenville, SC, and Patricia Rochester, of Savannah, GA; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
