Annie Mae Kilgore

Mrs. Annie Mae Rosemond Kilgore, the daughter of the late Mr. Jesse and Mrs. Eva Barton Rosemond was born in Greenville County, South Carolina, on December 8, 1918. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and Rock Hill Baptist Church as a second church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stone Heyward Kilgore; four sisters, Margaret R. Sherman, Idella Rosemond, Pearley R. Kelly and Barbara Rosemond; three brothers, Hovie Rosemond, Matthew Rosemond and John Robert Rosemond and one grandson, Tommie L. Wilson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories; two sons, Howard “James” Kilgore of Greenville S.C., and Willie Roy Kilgore of Greenville S.C.; godson, John Rainey of Greenville, S.C.; three daughters Eva Mae (Tommie) Wilson of Simpsonville, S.C., Hattie Lee Shaw of Greenville S.C., and Martha Ann Cureton of Greenville S.C.; one brother, Jesse Rosemond of Greenville; one-sister-in-law, Nannie Mae Kilgore of Simpsonville; eleven grandchildren; forty great -grandchildren; thirty-two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
