Mrs. Annie Elizabeth “Lizzie” Thomas, 93, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at The Windsor House. She was born in Greenville, and was a daughter of the late Daniel Davis and Christine Williams Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Thomas, Sr.; sons, Fred Thomas, Jr. and Charles Davis; a granddaughter, Jacqueline Riley; a great-grandchild, Michael Cross and her sisters, Margaret Wesley, Mamie Bowens, Julia Mosley and Sarah Burns.
Left to cherish many fond memories are her daughters, Mary Ann (Sherman) Drummond, Marie Hampton and Freddie Mae Williams, all of Greenville; goddaughter, Martha (Eddie) Houston of Mauldin; eighteen grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
