Anthony Sayles

Mr. Anthony Jamel “Nate the Great” Sayles, 37, passed away at Palmetto Health Richland on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He was born in Greenville on July 13, 1978, and was a son of Anthony Sitton and Tonita Sayles.

He attended Southside High School and was formerly employed at the Greenville Country Club and K&W Cafeteria. He also attended Long Branch Baptist Church.

“Nay-Nay” was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe Arthur Sitton and Francis Sitton.

Surviving, in addition to his parents: daughters, Aniyah Sayles, Naysa Juanita Sayles and Ava Aonesty Pitts; sons, Destin Eli Sayles and Divine Sayles; sisters, April (Keith) Sayles-Smith, Jameshia Sayles, and Sadeirya Floyd (Charles) McGee, all of Greenville; brothers, Joshua Scott, Derrick Adams, Trevore Choice and James Floyd, all of Greenville; grandfather, John Arthur Sayles; grandmother, Johnnie Mae Sayles, who reared him in the home and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
