Barbara Bonaparte

Mrs. Barbara Jo Parker Bonaparte was born on May 4, 1941, to the late James Parker and Margaret Banks Parker. She was called home on February 11, 2018.


She was employed with Magnolia Manor Health Care for twenty-six years as a Social Worker and Admission Coordinator and was also a licensed cosmetologist. She was a graduate of Sterling High School, Class of 1959. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church for many years before converting over to Maranatha Fellowship Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she served faithfully as a Deaconess.


She leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories, her husband, who was also her high school sweetheart, Mr. Eddie Leon Bonaparte; two sons whom she adored, Coneze James Barner of Greenville, SC and Reginial Brian (Debra) Barner of Aiken, SC; a stepson, Anthony Bonaparte of Simpsonville, SC; one stepdaughter, Cynthia Byrd of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Essie Pearl Harris and Lillian Parker, both of Greenville; six grandchildren Keandra Jordan, Reginial Barner, II, Demarcus Barner, A.J. Bonaparte, James Byrd, and Ricco Byrd; five great-grandchildren, Dasani Morris, Khloe Key Barner, Saige Eva Grace Barner, Kharisma Byrd and M’Kai Byrd; special nieces and nephews, Robert and Jarriet Norris of Easley, SC, Gilliam Bonaparte of Simpsonville, SC and Atrevia Bonaparte-Carlisle of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
