Mr. Bennie Garnett, 84, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Heartland Healthcare. He was a son of the late R.T. and Lucille Freeman Garnett.
He attended Rock of Ages Baptist Church until his health began to decline.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Boykin and Edward Garnett.
Surviving: his wife, Mary Magdaline Drummond Garnett of Greenville, SC five daughters, Kathy Garnett of Greenville, SC, Teresa Garnett and Brenda (Furman) Kanard, both of Taylors, SC, Vickie Garnett of Greenville, SC, and Michelle Smith of Mauldin, SC; three sons, Bennie Jerome Garnett and Victor Garnett, both of Greenville, SC, and Anthony Garnett of Easley, SC; two sisters, Christine Rosemond and Rosie Lee Arnold, both of Greenville, SC; eighteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
