Mr. Benny F. Byrd, 87, of Piedmont, passed on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Only and Hazeline Sullivan Byrd.
Surviving: his companion, Barbara Wood of Greenville; daughter, Rosa Mattison of Simpsonville; Nieces and Caregiver Hazeline Byrd Jones and Janis (Richard) Neely; two grandchildren, Sharonda and Jimmy Mattison, Jr.; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
