Bertha C. Moore, 86 of Easley, South Carolina, walked into her eternal resting place on October 27, 2017. Bertha begin her earthly journey on May 21, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Bennie and Maybelle Williams and the wife of the late Sherron R. Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sherron R. Moore, Sr.; daughter; Shirley Williams and sons; Sherron R. Moore, Jr. and William Bruce Moore.
Bertha completed her education from the Pickens County School System while working and taking care of her family. Bertha loved her church, family and her job. Bertha was a member for Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She showed her faith by the work she did. She served as the Adult Women Sunday School teacher, president of the missionary society, part of the Vacation Bible School committee and deaconess. Before retirement, Bertha was employed by Alice Manufacturing for 30 years.
She is survived by: Daughters; Ella N'dieli and Min. Carolyn Moore of Easley, South Carolina, Bertha (Willie) Felder of Walterboro, South Carolina, and a son; James Moore of Baytown, Texas, sisters; Marie Williams of Easley, South Carolina; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
