Betty Abercrombie

Mrs. Betty Ladson Abercrombie, 70, of 39A West Golden Strip Drive, Mauldin, passed on Saturday, June 23, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Alice Saxton Ladson.

Surviving: her husband, Leon Abercrombie of the home; daughters, Lisa (Allen) Jones of Simpsonville, Dionne Ladson of Mauldin, Tabitha (Tommy) Whiteside and Zandra Ladson, both of Piedmont; two sons, Marcus “Red” (Joy) Ladson of Easley and Travis (Kamisha) Ladson, both of Greenville; grandchildren raised in the home, Zaria Ladson, Tavis Cruell and Nicholas Ladson, all of Greenville; twenty-two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
