Ms. Betty “BB” Jones Alexander, 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Prisma Health. She was a daughter of the late James Otis and Alma Snead Jones.

She was reared in the Washington Heights Community and was a 1956 graduate of Sterling High School.

Those who will recall Betty will remember her years of being a machine operator, traveling the world, being a devoted military wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin, always bringing light into the world with her beautiful smile.

She was married to the late Leroy Alexander, Sr., and into this union two children were born.
