Betty Austin

Mrs. Betty Jo Norton Mack Austin, 82, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Vann and Nora Virginia Smith Norton.

She retired in 1991, as a machine operator at Kemet Electronics. She was a member of Crosswell Apostolic Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Leroy Mack; daughter, Anna Maria Mack; sisters, Rozella Norton and Ruby Nell Brownlee andbrothers, Claudious Eugene Norton, Howard Harrison Norton and David Norton.

Memories will be treasured by her daughters, Felicia A. (David) Boston of Fountain Inn, SC and Teresa G. (Lonnie) Glenn of Greenville, SC; sons, Myron A. Mack of New Orleans, LA, Elton D. Mack of Greenville, SC and Brian Mack of Greenville, SC; sister, Betty Jean Keaton of Greenville, SC; brothers, Rudolph Norton of Newark, DE, Ronald Norton of Atlanta, GA, Donald W. Norton of Greenville, SC, Henry O. Norton of New Orleans, LA and James O. Norton of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter raised in the home, Angel Moss; ten other grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
