Mrs. Betty Jean Rodgers Thorpe, 54, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late James Blassingame and the late Linda Louise Rodgers. She was raised by the late Larry Leroy Rodgers.
Mrs. Thorpe was the wife of Johnathan Thorpe for 35 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Jonathan Antonio Thorpe of Mauldin, SC; one sister, Linda Ann Rodgers of Greenville, SC; three brothers, James Robert Rodgers, Willie Lee Rodgers, and Larry Pernell Rodgers, all of Greenville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, January 9, 2023, 1:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Graceland West Cemetery, Whitehorse Road.
