Betty Jean Williams

Mrs. Betty Jean Williams, 73, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on September 3, 2019, at Prisma Health Upstate. She was a daughter of the late Eugene Jackson and Frances Sloan Hewins.

She attended Greenville Technical College and worked at General Electric Company for 22 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Sloan Hewins; three sisters, Barbara Elaine Thompson, Everlyn Adams and Beverly Brown; and a brother, Dale Hewins.

Left to cherish many fond memories are one daughter, Deidre (Halbert) Brockman of Greenville; two sons, Robert Williams of Greenville, and Kevin Law of Anderson; one sister, Judy Williams of Greenville, three brothers, Gregory Hewins and Mitchell Sloan, both of Greenville, and Glen Hewins of Ohio; four grand-children, Daniel Brockman, Natalie Brockman, Shanea Brockman and Robbie Elise Williams; seven great-grand-children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
