Mrs. Betty Beatrice “Bap” Prince, 92, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life to go to her Heavenly home on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Tinsley and Ida Smith Fraizer.
She was a graduate of Brewer High School and was employed by Hiantic Manufactory and Abbeville Manufactory. She attended John’s Creek Baptist Church where she was Youth Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Abbeville Community Club, 100 Women in White and a choir member.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Red” Prince; a grandson, Dwayne Prince; four brothers, Isaac Frazier, Rufus Frazier, James “RB” Smith and Howard Frazier; three sisters, Margari Burton, Emma Bolden and Jessie Taggart.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are a daughter, Shirley Chandler of the home; three sisters, Doris Abrams of Abbeville, SC, Rebecca Kennedy of Greenwood, SC, and Leather Ligon of Bronx, NY; five grandchildren, Ricky (Susan) Prince, Rodney (Carla) Prince, Tracy Johnson, Dexter (Evon) Cason and Judy Makins; fifteen great-grandchildren; thirty-three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
