Mr. Billy Charles “Daffy” Martin, 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was the son of the late Clifton Lincoln and Allean Sizemore Martin. He
was the last surviving member of his family.
Surviving: seven daughters, Marilyn (Phillip) Miles of North Augusta, SC, Carolyn Anderson of Greenville, SC, Crystalyn M. Dogan, Vanessa (Harry) Witherspoon and Natasha Williams, all of the home; Libby (Stephen) Sheppard of Greenville, SC and Carmilla (Darrell) Robinson of Simpsonville, SC; four stepdaughters, Clarice T. Martin and Gloria Dean, both of Greenville, SC, Tanyia Dean of Nashville, TN and Kanithia Dean of Summerville, SC; four stepsons, Kendrick (Karen) Dean, Bertron Dean and Kendrick (Latress) Martin, all of Greenville, SC and Xavier (Andrea) Dean of Toledo, OH; thirty-two grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, September 25, 2021, 1:00pm Watkins Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Pleasant View Missionary Baptist.
