Bishop Casper Cohens, Sr., D.Min., 93, of 213 Morningside Drive, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ethel Coker Cohens.

Left to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Mrs. Jessie Lee Berry Cohens of the home. Daughters, Leola Cohens of Greenville, Magdalene (Richard) Cohens Irby of Greenville, Catherine Cohens Donaldson of Greenville, Evelyn (Bishop Johnny L.) Davis of Lyman, Minister Delores Cohens of Greenville, Minister Juanita Cohens of Greenville, and Minister Linda J. (James E.) Harrison of Victorville, CA. Sons, Casper(Julia) Cohens, Jr. of Taylors , Bishop Arthur (Evang. Martha) Cohens of Hattiesburg MS, Michael Cohens and Joann of Greenville, Jasper (Evelyn)Cohens of Woodbridge,VA, Jeffery Warren ( Paulette) Cohens of Greenville, Dennis Earl (Deanna) Cohens of Lexington, Ky, James Moore Huff of Greenville. A sister, Madgalene Scott of Greenville, twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, cousins, Church Family, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 5, 2014, 1:00 pm at Greater St. James Temple @13255 Asheville Hwy, Inman, SC 29349. Visitation: Friday, July 4, 2014, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary.

Burial: Monday, July 7, 2014, 11:00 am at M J "Dolly" Cooper VA Cemetery, Anderson, SC.
