Bishop Willie Rabb departed this life on Friday, December 27, 2019, at Prisma Healthcare Upstate in Greenville, South Carolina. He was born on March 12, 1923, in Greenville County to the late Mr. Eddie Rabb and Mrs. Carrie Watkins Rabb.
Bishop Rabb was a veteran after serving in the U.S. Army. He gave his life to the Lord at an early age when he joined Macedonia FBH Church. He was appointed as Ambassador for the FBH Church and served until he was led by the Holy Spirit to establish a church, Barbour Chapel Missionary Church where he was appointed Bishop.
Bishop Rabb was married to Mae Ola Williams until her death and to their union five children were born. He was later graced to wed Cora Wren until her death and inherited three daughters.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Mae Ola Williams Rabb and Cora Wren Rabb; a daughter, Mrs. Della Mae Rabb, Deneka; a son, Rev. Willie A. Rabb; granddaughter, Nakima Fant; brothers, Mr. Eddie Rabb, Mr. Manus Rabb and Mr. Thomas C. Wood; sisters, Mrs. Ella Louise Rabb Moore, Mrs. Annie Bell Rabb Latimore, Mrs. Julia Mae Rabb Brown, Mrs. Carrie Rabb Jones and Mrs. Mae Catherine Rabb Robinson
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are three sons, Mr. Isaac D. Rabb of Anderson, SC, Elder James B. (Rosalind) Rabb of Powdersville, SC, and Mr. Dennis E. Rabb of Greenville, SC; daughters-in-law, Mrs. Jacqueline R Rabb of Greenville, SC, and Mrs. Ginger Price Rabb of Piedmont, SC; twelve grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
