Bobbie Jean Harper

Mrs. Bobbie Jean “Mrs. Barbara” Harper, 86, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Olin Barton, Sr., and Daisy Croft Barton.

She was a retired domestic engineer and a former member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Olin Barton, Jr.

Left to treasure many fond and loving memories are four daughters, Barbara (Alvin) Chapman of Easley, Jackie Ann Barton, Virginia (Ronnie) Burton and Cassandra (Emmanuel) Flemming, all of Greenville; four sons, Derrick Harper, Bobby Joe Harper, Jeffrey (Tanya) Harper, all of Greenville and Michael Harper of Spartanburg; one sister, Evelyn Brantley of Taylors; granddaughters raised in the home, Tanginica (Tony)Anderson of Simpsonville and Andriana Burton of Greenville; a great-grandson raised in the home, Tristan Pilgrim of Greenville; an adopted son, Kevin Jefferies of Spartanburg; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
