Brenda Patterson

Mrs. Brenda Jean Patterson, 63, of Piedmont, South Carolina, departed this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at her home. Born in Alexandria, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mammie Ruth McGreer Brock.

Jean was a graduate of Carolina High School and a retiree of Fabri-Kal Corporation. She was a member of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmothers, Essie McGreer and Mary Brock; a brother, Michael Lee Brock and uncles, Jimmy, Giles and Edward McGreer.

Left with many fond memories are her two daughters, Eugenia L. Brock and April Ruth L. Patterson, both of Greenville, SC; a son, Steven Carl Patterson of Greenville; two sisters, Patricia Ann (Jaylan) Robinson and Alicia R. Wright, both of Greenville; a brother, Randall J. Wright of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Trolica, Jasmine, Brendaisa, Genisis, Bree, Travas and Qwon; two aunts, Johnnie Mae Milam and Frances McGreer and a host of other relatives and friends.
