Brittany Neal

January 9, 1986 — August 12, 2019

On the morning of August 12, 2019, at Brunswick Memorial Hospital in Brunswick, Georgia, the Lord dispatched his angels to carry our beloved Brittany and her son, Demetrius Jahleel Saxton, to come be with the Him. Brittany fought a good fight and wrestled between Heaven and Earth, between leaving sad loved ones behind, and seeing loved ones gone before. God whispered, “Come and take your rest and I’ll give you Peace, for your battle is won,” Brittany smiled and gained her wings and flew like a Mighty Eagle.

Ms. Brittany Neal, the beloved daughter of Charles Cobb, and the late Mrs. Linda Neal Cobb was a 2004 graduate of Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, South Carolina. At a late age, she joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with her family.

Brittany was employed as a Shift Manager at McDonald’s in Brunswick. She was affectionally known for her beautiful smile, big heart, and joking ways. She enjoyed braiding hair and playing with her loving nephew, Cam. Being around her family made her happy.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Mrs. Linda Neal Cobb and her grandparents, Eddie and Eliza Mae Neal.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her father, Mr. Charles Cobb; her father’s fiancé, Ms. Iola DeSue; her fiancé, Mr. Dedrick Saxton of Brunswick, GA; one sister, Ms. Natasha Neal; four brothers, Mr. Michael Copeland, of Jacksonville, FL, and Mr. Kendrick Cobb, Mr. Curtis Willington and Mr. Kovocus Cobb, all of Greenville, SC; her grand-parents, Mrs. Frances Davis and Mr. Willie Cobb, both of Greenville, SC; five aunts, Ms. Elaine Blassingame, Mrs. Frances Young, both of Greenville, SC, Ms. Sandorea Dotson and Ms. Marzollia Neal, both of Simpsonville, SC, and Mrs. Samantha (Victor) Stephens of Creedmore, NC; five uncles, Mr. Eric Cobb, Mr. Buddha (Toreyon) Shabazz, Mr. Bernard Blassingame, all of Greenville, SC, and Mr. Albany (Tasha) Posey of Mauldin, SC, and Mr. E. J. Neal of Newberry, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
