Broadus Durant

Mr. Broadus Durant, 72, of Greenville, passed on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at his home. He was the son of the late Broadus Durant, Sr., and Nancy Thurman Durant.


Surviving: two sons, Julius Christie and Lamar Christie, both of Greenville; four daughters, Lovette (Gerald) Sims of Belton, Tasha (Darris) Arnold, Tiffany (Martinez) Pizarro and Angela Moore, all of Greenville; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Murtis Thomason of Greenville and Elaine Downs of Piedmont; one nephew raised in the home, Lawrence Durant of Virginia; three sisters-in-law, Octavia Durant of Philadelphia, PA, Mae Alice Durant of Charlotte, NC, and Earnestina Durant of Boston, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
