Calvin Dawkins

Mr. Calvin Edward Arnold Dawkins, 53, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Roy Lee Dawkins and the late Princella Arnold Dawkins.
Calvin was a graduate of J.L. Mann High School and attended Benedict College. He was a cook at various restaurants.
He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, where he formerly was a member of the choir, and Boy Scouts and the Youth Van Driver.
He was predeceased by his mother and a brother, Roy Anthony Dawkins.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories, in addition to his father: daughter, Deja Dawkins of Easley, SC; sons, Thaddeus “TJ” Terrell and Torrey Latimore, both of Greenville and Denzel Dawkins and Kenzel Dawkins, both of Liberty; one grandchild, Nevaeh Lomax-Dawkins; god-sisters raised in the home, Loretta and Janice Jenkins; two nieces, Jennifer Aris and Jasmine Annette Poose; one special aunt, Drewcella A. Young of Greenville; three uncles, James C. Dawkins, Elliott Arnold and John (Linda) Arnold, all of Greenville and a host of other relatives and friends.
