Capernaum Griffin

Mr. Capernaum “Kay” Griffin, 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, December 24, 2018, at Greenville Health System. He was the son of the late James and Eva Young Griffin.

He worked for Metromont for forty years until retirement. He was affiliated with Mt. Zion Church in Laurens, South Carolina, and Staunton Community Baptist Church in Greenville.

He was preceded in death by nine brothers and three sisters.

Surviving: a son, Capernaum Eric Griffin (Tracy) of Greenville, SC; a stepdaughter, Laura (Eddie) Smith of Fountain Inn, SC; two sisters, Daisy Marshall and Dorothy Griffin, both of Greenville, SC; raised in the home, Capernaum Dee Fant of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a friend til the end, Larry Ware; seven brothers of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
