Carl Dukes

November 9, 1943 — March 19, 2020

Mr. Carl Dukes, Jr., 76, of Liberty, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Cottingham House, Seneca. He was the son of the late Carl Sr., and Florine Williams Dukes.

He was a graduate of Clearview High School and he attended Tri-CountyTechnical College. He was formerly employed at Randolph Trucking Danfoss Power Solutions and Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Company.

He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Liberty, SC, where he served as a Trustee and sang in the Men's, Senior and Adult Choirs.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Marie Simpson and Anna Lee Austin.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his wife, Patsy Austin Dukes of the home; two daughters, Tisha (Matthew) Jasper of Greer, SC, and Tonya Dukes Jones of Easley, SC; one granddaughter raised in the home, Taneiah Dukes; one sister, Henrietta (David, Sr.) McGowens, of Easley, SC; three grand-children, Taneiah Dukes, Eliana Jones and Christian Jones; one great-grandchild, Nalani Herbert; a nephew raised as a son, Cornelius Simpson of Liberty, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
