Mrs. Carolyn Dennis Benson, 69, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Prisma Health GMH. Born in Anderson County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of S.T. Dennis, Sr., and the late Willie Mae McGowan Dennis.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 48 years, Larry J. Benson; one daughter, Etoshaia (Jackie) Rouse of Piedmont, SC; two sons, LeRicko (Estelle) Benson of Camden, SC, and Steven (Shavon) Benson of Denver, NC; two sisters, Charlotte (Jimmy) Latimer of Belton, SC and Phyllis Dennis of Travelers Rest, SC; one brother, S. T. Dennis, Jr. of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, April 22, 2022, 3:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment on Monday, April 25, 2022, 11:00am in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
