Ms. Carolyn Louise McGowens, 61, of Greenville, passed on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. She was a daughter of the late Grover and Roberta Miles McGowens.
Surviving: two daughters, Nicole (Richard) Norris and Cindy (Isiah) Carter, both of Greenville, SC; two sons, Waco (Jennifer) McGowans and Frederick McGowans, both of Greenville, SC; fiancé David Blassingame; one sister, Lula Mae (Tony) Harris of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Richard Earl McGowens and Ulysses McGowens, both of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, October 9, 2021, 2:30 pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
