Carrie Archie

April 21, 1943 — December 27, 2018

On Thursday, December 27, 2018, God called to rest Ms. Carrie Mae Watts Archie. She was born to the late James and Carrie Bell Wilson Watts, Sr., on April 21, 1943 in Newberry, South Carolina.

She was a graduate of Sterling High School, Class of 1961, and was employed at Fiber Industries. Carrie attended Reedy Fork Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, James Watts, Jr. and Jonathan Watts.

Left to cherish fond memories are her former husband, Calvin Archie; two sons, Melvin (Regina) Archie and James Archie, both of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Roberta Sanders of Bronx, NY, Barbara Ann Archie of Greenville, SC, Sheila Watts of Philadelphia, PA, and Linda Watts of Greenville, SC; one brother, Bennie Watts of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Niki Frierson, Rashad Archie and Demetrius Young; a most beloved niece, Yakisha Watts (Aw koko I Love u Both the Same) one aunt, Ruth Watts of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
