Ms. Carrie Lou Davis, 103, of Hartwell Georgia, passed on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Hart Care Center, Hartwell. She was a daughter of the late Dora Harris Davis.
She was a retiree of Stax Restaurant and a devoted member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church, where she served as a devotion leader and on the Deacon Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Miles; a son, Lonnie Davis; her stepfather, Eugene Davis; two brothers, Oliver Harris and Claude Harris; a sister, Willa Mae Roy; and a niece, Dora Miles.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are a daughter, Juanita Norton of Greenville, SC; two sons, Roy (Helen) Miles, Sr., of Greenville, SC, and Rev. Eddie J. Davis of Fountain Inn, SC; a niece, Leslie (Bruce) Garnett of Pennsylvania; a daughter-in-law, Mae H. Davis of Greenville, SC, two devoted grandchildren, Min. Eva (Elder Clayton) Smith and Priscilla Lewis-Mance; sixteen other grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grand-children; other relatives and friends.
