Carrie Gray

Mrs. Carrie Louise “Tippi” Gray, 67, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Greenville Health System. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Carrie Lou Dirton Smith, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Johnny Butler.

Many memories will be treasured by her two daughters, Valerie Gray of Simpsonville, SC and Alonda S. Gray, Greenville, SC; stepson, Joe (Sherry) Jones of Lyman, SC; three sisters, Evelyn (Willie) Carson of Mauldin, SC, Fannie Butler and Oliva (Glenn) McGee, both of Greenville, SC; brothers, Willie (Juanita) Smith, Jr. and Larry Dirton Smith, both of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
