Cassandra Whittaker

Mrs. Cassandra Johnson Whittaker, 88, of 102 Gettysburg Street, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Bamberg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ishmael and Prisell Wright Johnson.

Left to cherish many loving memories is her husband, Willie J. Whittaker, Jr..; son, Willie J. Whittaker, III.; sisters-in-law, Frances W. Jones of Sumter, Thelma W. (Larry) Anderson of Portsmouth, VA, and Lelola Whittaker; nieces, Monica A. (William) Spencer of Hopkinton, MA, Denise (Wallace) Herring of Atlanta, GA, and Renee Anderson of Virginia Beach, VA; nephews, Kevin and Kenneth Jones of Sumter, Larry Anderson of Portsmouth, VA, and Tony (Gwendolyn) Anderson of Richmond, VA.


Funeral Service: Tuesday, 12:00 Noon at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
