Ms. Catherine Lavern Groves Johnson, 63, of Salisbury, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Aaron Renrick and Lessie Lou Groves Blassingame.
Surviving: her only child, Courtney (Johnny) Collins of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Katherine Simpkins, Deborah Foster, and Nita Reeder, all of Greenville, SC; two brothers, William Reeder of Greenville, SC and Aaron Jerome Cureton of Easley, SC; two grandsons, Joshua Davenport and Johnathan Collins; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Friday, December 22, 2023, 1:00pm, at Word of Faith Christian Fellowship , with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
