Mrs. Catherine McClendon, 86, of 118 Clearview Road, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson County. She was the daughter of the late Rose Lee Owens and W.H. Gilliard.
Surviving: Daughters: Betty A. Gambrell of Texas, Joyce (Clarence) Burns of Belton SC. Son: Hiawatha (Paulette) McClendon of Charlotte, NC. Sister: Birdie Gilliard of Anderson SC. Brother: Leroy Gilliard of Greenville SC. eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, May 8, 2015, 12:00 Noon at New Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 8023 Old Greenville Hwy, Easley S.C., 29640. with burial in the church cemetery.
