Mr. Cedric Donald “Ced” Coleman, 55, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, April 15, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was a son of Sylvia Vaughn Coleman and the late Rederick Coleman.
He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Tulane University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He retired from the Dekalb County Sheriff Department after seventeen years of service. He coached little league football for over ten years and was an avid fan of “All” sports, but a passionate lover of FOOTBALL. He attended Gospel Nations in Powders Spring, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father,Rederick E. Coleman, and his father-in-law, MacArthurWatson.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his wife, Lisa Watson Coleman of the home; his mother, Sylvia V. Coleman of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, McKenzie Coleman of Greenville, SC; a son, Cedric “Mac” Coleman of Greenville, SC; a sister, Lyia (Mallory) Burnett of Atlanta. GA; a brother, Eric Coleman of Seattle, WA; one grandchild, Teigen Cole Madden; his mother-in-law, CeLaine Watson of Bradley, SC; four sisters-in-law, Sharon (Earl) Carter of Atlanta, GA, Kimberly (Elbert) Parks, Astra Watson, both of Greenville, SC, and Tabitha (Monte) Stokes of Townsend, DE; and a host of other relatives and friends.
