Charles Bowens

Mr. Charles “Charlie” M. Bowens, 94, of 108 N. 3rd Street, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his home. Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Tony W. and Neta Bowens. He was preceded in death by two children, Charles H. Bowens and Linda Bowens Dickerson, three sisters, and one brother. He loved taking pictures and dressing well.

Surviving: daughters; Bernice Ferguson of Easley and Clara (Marlon) Carter of El Paso, TX: sons; Herbert (Mary) Bowens, Rayford (Barbara) Bowens, and Larry (Lottie) Bowens, all of Easley, and Tony (Lynne) Bowens of Greenville: and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation: Sunday, June 22, 2014, 3:00-4:00 PM at Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral Service: Sunday, June 22, 2014, 4:00 PM at Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church with burial on Monday, June 23, 2014, 11:00 AM in M J Dolly Veterans Cemetery.
