CHARLES BENJAMIN CLARDY, 75, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina December 31, 1938 to the union of the late Leila Johnson Clardy and Bennie Clardy.
Charles was one of 4 children. He Christian journey started at Moore’s Chapel United Methodist Church. After completing his education in Greenville County public schools he began his work life with Pendleton Street Pharmacy. He was a medical deliverer for many years and enjoyed it to the fullest. Later in life he managed several Sports/Pool venues.
He leaves to celebrate his life and continue his legacy 3 siblings, Alphonso (Barbara) Clardy of Tampa, FL, Evelyn (the late Henry Berry, Jr.) Clardy Berry of Mauldin, SC, and Elaine Clardy Chapman of Roxbury, Mass., nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
A special Memorial Service will be held at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 6 PM. Family can be contacted at 14 Farm Ridge, Mauldin, SC 29662.
