Mr. Charles “Charlie” Greene, 90, departed this life on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at his home. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Alvin Greene and Delphia Mae Blackwell Greene.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Enoree Baptist Church.
Left to cherish many fond memories are his three sisters, Rosa Montgomery of Baltimore, MD, Eliza (Alvin) Dennis of Simpsonville and Susie Rosemond of Greenville; three brothers, Alvin Greene of Hyattsville, MD, Isaiah Greene of Greenville and Wallace Greene of San Francisco, CA; one granddaughter,Tonya (Charles) Davids of Lawrenceville, GA; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
