Charles Rosemond

Mr. Charles Melvin Rosemond, Sr., 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Thursday, January 25, 2017, at his home. He was the son of the late Roosevelt Rosemond and Hattie Leaks Rosemond Mingo.

He was a graduate of Sterling High School. He was a retiree of the GSP Airport and the Marriott Hotel and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his spouse,Mildred Ann Rosemond; and a brother, Roosevelt Rosemond, Jr.

Left to cherish many fond memories are his companion, JoEllen Sullivan of the home; a daughter, Sandra (Bobby) Lockhart of Suisun City, CA; two sons, Michael (Sonomi) Rosemond, Jr., and Charles Melvin Rosemond of Greenville; three stepchildren, Christopher Taylor, Cheryl Taylor and Erskine Taylor; a sister, Juanita Madden of Greenville; four grandchildren, Tracey Y. Donaldson, Bryant A. Rosemond, Devonne J. Rosemond and Julian K. Rosemond; four great-grandchildren, Zoey Ward, Ashlyn Rosemond, Gabriela Rosemond and Marques Taylor; and a host of other relative and friends.
