Charlette Mattress

Ms. Charlette Ann “Charlie Ann” Mattress, 72, of Greenville, passed on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Brookdale Nursing Facility. She was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Gladys Bolden Johnson.

Surviving are her husband, Bobby Mattress, Sr., of Greenville, SC; one daughter, Lasha Mattress of Greenville, SC; one son, Bobby (Bonita) Mattress, Jr., of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Mary L. Gary of Greenville, SC, Matilda McDuffie of Pelzer, SC, Linda F. Henderson of Greenville, SC, and Denise Johnson of Rockville, MD; four brothers, Thomas L. Johnson, Ralph M. Johnson, both of Greenville, SC, and Rev. Hal B. (Brenda) Johnson and Dennis R. Johnson, both of Simpsonville, SC; two stepsisters; five step-brothers; four grandchildren, Quadashia L. Bigby, Diamond M. Irby, Cornelius M. Mattress and Bobby T. “BJ” Mattress; three great-grandchildren, Cordell Mattress, Nyia Mattress and Nyla Bigby; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
