Christian Chapman

Mr. Christian Tyler “Roots” Chapman, 23, formerly of Greenville, residing in Houston, Texas, departed this life on May 29, 2018.

He was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. He was owner and operator of House of Roots specializing in cultural clothing, organic soaps and oils. He was a member of Gathering of Christ Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Yoland Crossman.

Left to treasure many fond and loving memories are his father, Michael Grant of Houston, TX; his mother, Cynthia Chapman Grant of Houston, TX; one sister, Madison Grant of Houston, TX; two brothers, Sterling Grant and Aaron Grant, both of Houston, TX; maternal grandparents, Erma Chapman Crossman of Houston, TX and Louis, Sr., and Theresa Chapman of San Antonio, TX; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Lou Grant of Greenville, SC; aunts, Tammie Chapman, Tiffany Chapman, Fiero Chapman and Beverly Chapman, all of Greenville, SC, and Ladi Chapman of London, England; uncles, Chris Grant, Michael Chapman and Kirby Chapman, all of Greenville, SC, Louis Chapman of London, England, Bruce Chapman and Charlie Pace, III, both of Houston, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
